Why Data Quality Still Matters

The upgrade amplifies good data but can’t fix poor data. To unlock peak performance, make sure your catalog includes:

  • Descriptive attributes (e.g. brand, colour, size, gender, in_stock, on_sale).
  • Clean, consistent values (e.g. “navy” vs “blue navy” vs “navy blue”).
  • Up-to-date stock and pricing information.

Optimising Your Chat Configuration

  • Add the most important attributes as filterable attributes in Chat settings.
  • Review attribute spelling and capitalisation—they must match your feed exactly.
  • Test common shopper questions and refine filters where needed.

Getting Started

  1. Log in to my.clerk.io → Chat → Settings.
  2. Confirm your filterable attributes cover the facets shoppers care about.
